Aphid clearance on Swamp Milkweed by several critters?
My Swamp milkweed had a heavy infestation of orange aphids a few days ago. Today the aphids are gone, succeeded by a lady beetle larva but also quite a few other things I can't identify. Are there tiny ants in the photos? there's a scale-like shiny thing--larva of something else?

I cannot resolve enough detail here to be able to tell you what the other insects are. Aphids do attract ants, which come for the liquid waste (honeydew) secreted by the aphids. A lot of other insects like aphid honeydew, too: wasps, bees, flies, some beetles....
