Bug ID - TN weird looking thing

Found these things climbing around the top of my new planted Spiny Greek Juniper trees [that are 5ft high]. They do see to be able to fly at least a short distance. Fairly large - same size as wasp.

The most distinctive thing is their back legs. They almost look like mini lobster claws. Nearest thing I can find on Google is a Leaf-Footed bug but it says they like Citrus.

There are many kinds of leaf-footed bugs, and your description certainly fits; so does the time of year.  You can browse this link to find a match:

The genera Leptoglossus and Acanthocephala are generally the most common.  Rarely, if ever, are they pests.
