sphynx moth white striped

barrett
it is going to get down in the 20's in denver in the next few days -
will the moth hanging out by my porch light survive or should i bring it in?
also - how long can it go without nectar?

I apologize if I did not respond in a timely fashion.  I am not always notified when I receive a question here....Native moths and other insects are adapted to the temperature extremes we experience.  Even if "your" moth doesn't survive, other members of the species will.  Plus, White-lined Sphinx moths are well known for population "booms" some years, and "busts" in other years.
